EDIT: My Mistake, it looks like some of Kroq-gars discounts aren't applying to their upkeep costs. I have their base upkeep as 124G, but Kroq-gar with Blessing of Itzul(-20%), Geomantic Sustenance(-15%), Renowned and feared (-8%) and last defender (-50%) totaling up to 93% off has them at 64G a turn. My best guess is they aren't benefiting from Last Defender, since that allone should drop them to 62G. This might not be your mod's fault though, it looks like Horned ones are a similar situation

There's some strange behavior comming from the cost reductions of Kroq-Gar and the Last defender, I've already noticed it with the Saurus, so I'll put the blame on CA for that one and it may be fixed for the Feral Cold Ones when they'll fix it for the other units.

They have no upkeep cost at all.

Do you use other mods? What LL are you playing as?

Playing on my roommates pc he has steel faith mod and brutal battles. Don't think he has any other mods that change unit stats.

Actually looking further into this the unit actually has upkeep but my main lord has so many upkeep reducements they have 0 upkeep while in town and 9 when force marching. Maybe you could increase the upkeep cost for them? I mean having 66 upkeep cost for such a powerful unit in early game feels like cheating.

I had a army of 4 of those and 1 mace guys and the lord obviously and I defeated a 4 times as large army of skaven (around 2500). They are just so good I think they might be better than the actual cavalry.
I can see now why CA would make them available as a summon only. They are just soo freaking strong.

I've checked SFO and discussed a bit with Venris, the problem id sadly not just with the Feral Cold Ones, in fact all the Saurus and Cold Ones have a -100% upkeep while garisoned with Kroq'Gar, it's likely due to a bug with his LL trait reducing upkeep by 50% for these units.

I can't really do anything about it on my end, but Venris will give it a look asap.

Oh. The saurus have around 70 upkeep or a bit less. Weird. Well thanks for checking it.

Hey, appreciate your work. I've run into a bug that shuts down TW2 if I attempt to load any campaign that previously used your mod. Is this normal?

Well, as with much mods who add something in the campaign, you shouldn't be able to continue a campagne using the mod without it.

So yeah, I'd say it's normal ;)

Cool, im new to the total war scene as well as modding stuff so i didnt know if it was intended.

No problem.

As a rule of thumb, some mods are save compatible (meaning they can be added an played with an old save) but outside of the purely graphical one you can't play with that save without the mod afterward.
