Hi on my mineral machine world 3 I'm trying to upgrade the Reconstructed Transmutor Core Access again. It tells me the amount of resources I'll need, but when I actually attempt to upgrade it says I'm missing "Never". Is this some kind of bug or is there actually something else I have to do.

It technically wasnt a bug but I forgot to take out the allow always = no part of the code.

It has been fixed (should be). The next time you play the game after you let the workshop update you should be able to upgrade the building. Let me know if it works or if it still says never plz :LotusFlower:

I restarted the game and now it allows me to upgrade it. Thank your for the help and so far I do like this mod. It makes machine worlds similar to a decent megastructure. Might actually be worth using machine worlds for Driven Assimilators now.

Missing the terraform links from pc_machine_<<type>>_alpha to pc_machine_<<type>>_ceta on the terraform_masters files, and I'd check the streamlined too in case there is the same problem.

If you have the augment mastery technology, your "Mineral Machine Ringworld I" can only become one of the other types and never a "Mineral Machine Ringworld III".

I've just fixed it quickly here and it should be just that, a new link from alpha to ceta on both machine world/ringworld for every type.

Well it could become a Mineral Machine Ringworld III you would just have to go through an uneeded step of sending it someplace else :P

Well by the looks of it, Science Alpha was at least linked correctly ^-^ (I think...)

Thanks for letting me know. Looks like I made sure all alphas connected to all cetas with the exception of their own ceta >.> MB

I dont think streamline files are anything to worry about. I did check but it doesnt actually contain the alphas thats all in the base file. The only reason Masters contains the alphas was for alphas to be able to jump to cetas for if you had alphas when you got the tech.

I think its fixed now. At least it should be. I think. If its not well let me know and ill see what I can fix v.v :LotusFlower:

Further testing revealed the districts for specialized machine worlds are lacking a planet_modifier, planet_max_buildings_add.
Due to the change in how max buildings are calculated, specialized machine worlds can't build in 5 of their slots.

Idk how any of that is implemented, I'll have to try to figure it out tomorrow or so

I've been digging through the files to know what was up with this patch.
I thought the problem needed to be fixed by adding a planet modifier, that was included with this new patch, "planet_max_buildings_add. This modifier is present in the vanilla housing districts.

Turns out vanilla machine worlds also have a new planet modifier "planet_max_buildings_add = 12".
Should be an easy but tiresome patch to just apply the new modifier to all the planet types.

Thank you very much. The line has been added to all relevant planet classes :LotusFlower:

Looking into the districts files and default planet modifier adding housing and the 13th entry of the 00_mwe_ringworld_*_districts and 00_mwe_planet_*_districts as well as the habitat files are incomplete/borked.
masternetra 3 May, 2021 @ 1:54pm
"district_mwe_alpha_habitat_unity_uncapped" in the habitat_alpha.

Thank you very much. Fixed it & even tweaked habitat housing numbers while I was there.
