Honey
I’ve been playing ARK - Anzah - A Mythical Land now for some time now and I can’t get the cooking Pot to recognize the Honey that I put in it to make Sweet cake, it recognizes all other ingredients. I caught 4 Sheep and after a week they all disappeared out of a separate building I built. This is the third time I caught sheep and they disappear on me after a short time and I can’t make the Sweet cakes to tame them. That might help them to stay with me. I tried playing on different servers and the same thing happens.

Little late responding to this but,
You said you caught Sheep. Did you actually tame them?
All animals unless Tamed will de-spawn when taken away from their original Spawn Point. It's the reason so many had problems with Beaver Farms in the beginning. They were takiing the Beavers from their Spawn Area instead of building an Enclosure around the Beaver area.
