I dunno when this started but the comments on the main page say like late april (yikes)

Most of the time when I open virtual arsenal for the first time in a mission I'll get the above image's error: Vana didn't initialize. Hitting either of the buttons will make the message go away and seemingly nothing will happen. The SAVE and LOAD buttons at the bottom of the arsenal will do nothing until you reopen the arsenal with Vana initializing properly. You can still use the arsenal normally minus those functions. Closing the arsenal will start some kind of internal timer or code loop until...

it crashes my game most of the time with a STATUS ACCESS VIOLATION. I corroborated this with a couple of my pals who also get the same error most of the time. They usually don't crash after closing uninitialized though. It's always especially bad for me because I'm hosting the listen server.

The workaround is this: just wait for the message to disappear on its own. My guess is that Vana will auto-reinitialize but it won't tell you that it's doing it. If you don't let it do it then your game gets confused and BohemiaCode™ decides to off itself in an incredibly destructive way. As a good rule of thumb if you press either CANCEL or CONFIRM you are basically screwed and there is no hope of you ever making it more than ten steps out of the arsenal screen.
