losing lvl ?
I have played as britonia and empire(karl) and every they gain a lvl it say 92 instead of the lvl they actually go to. And this does that they only gain a lvl every other time is this something to do with this mod as iits the only 1 i have installed atm ?

It's just a visual glitch. I think it still happens even without this mod installed; perhaps more with it installed? In any case, I don't think I even could fix it (if I knew what caused it).

Hey JR! Sorry for necroposting but figured I could help here. I know what it likely is caused by. You've assigned too high values, such as 90, in the character_skill_nodes tier column. The level indicator calculates what nodes you have points in and if I were to guess, it freaks out if it sees that you have tier 90 skill node activated and reports your level as 90+.

I'm not sure if you have to follow a strict linear progression (1, 2, 3) without jumps for it to not freak out or if you simply need to stay below the level cap of 40. But try playing around with lower values and see if it smoothes things over.

I'd love to see this fixed, if it's possible.

The only reason I don't use this mod is because of this bug. I know it's just visual, but the looks of a thing is important for someone ;)

Update:

I tested this theory, and you seem to be correct. I changed all the tier 90 skill node numerals into 15 instead; and I never got the infamous "level 92" visual bug any longer in a subsequent game up to around 200 turns. Keep in mind that I tend to be very aggressive with spy ops, so I had a dozen or so Heroes make level 40 and 3 Lords also make level 40. This contrasts to three or four prior games I played with this mod, where the bug affected multiple characters in every single game. (Contrary to the mod creator, this was not a "rare" bug in my experience; nor did I find it anywhere else but with this mod.)

So thank you for seemingly solving this problem; and I hope other people can profit from my experience with Frosty's work-around. I really liked this mod, but I had disabled it for a long time, because I could not tolerate this bug. Now it's back being among my favorite mods.

Finally, I will report again if unforeseen problems emerge in the future.

After the next patch drops from the reinforcement beta I'll patch this in.

I always suspected it was that, just never tested. I knew moving them would wreck save files so I never bothered with it.

WOW it worked! bit of a time-sink changing the 90s to 15s, but it worked a charm :D
