I think it was more based on the Egyptian god horus, which is in itself what Pharah's helmet is based on. And even if its based on Pharah's helmet itself, its a neat thing to use as a reference anyway.

lol actually i ve never played overwatch the project started with some STARGARTE movie references from the jaffa helmets, but was adjusted then adjusted again with the advice of DE

And? if it's based on the same source, they are bound to be similar. And that's it, it means nothing else.

If you're trying to say that this rips off overwatch, it's not. Because again, the similarity is caused by same source reference. Overwatch does not invent nor own horus, everyone are free to make any kind of character based on it.

I mean that he can tried to look in to internet and tried to do something diferent to what we can see

ik is not super original, they put anubis in game i though lets make the counter part, and that how i got the idea besides i like the birds or prey and the whole aesthetic. i dont mind ppl saying is derivate art and is a bit tired.
i just though was cool and made it out of selfishness to have it in game.

That's basically the same thing. You're telling people to choose differently just because blizzard made the same choice as if they own it while they're not. Bottom line is, nobody has the right for Horus. So you have no rights to tell anyone that they cannot make Horus derivative design.

Everything is overwatch now, even the egyptian gods...

The helmet is great and original enough, it barely even resembles any other designs outside of an actual bird's beak. Nothing needs to be changed imo.

.... i think is just enough when ppl get angry at each other something like this is kinda pointless, just leave it like that. i respect other people opinions so i dont mind the comments of any nature , is a thing when you have a work criticims is part of it.

But I mean you can still doing the Horus skin, is a good idea, but just change a bit the helmet and make it cooler.
I give you an idea, watch at Azir from League of Legends or Ra from smite, I think if you use metals and mix those 2 you can make a really great Horus skin

takes a long time for me to model something, means i work on it in free time. so i wont change it, this is the second time i change it, besides other changes prior to that.

was reject but DE gave some advice and i make the change.
bottom line i apprecieate your interest but its been so long on the oven that i want to finish it and try something different, a weapon or a syandana.
btw is almost a year since i started the thing, back then i have no idea how to make anything 3d so that was my gain.
