Help for Beginners
1. Before you enter the dungeon, get free drinks from the Innkeeper as a provision for your dungeon. They will quench your hunger and thirst.
2. The Knight and the Wizard are good classes for beginners with the knights thick armor, his longsword as good melee weapon for beginners and the wizards staff wich stuns enemys.
3. Allways skill the Survival so you need lesser food and have longer time of self-regeneration. Skilling ALL Stamina skills too will be very important too!
4.Skill Vitality and Immunity too. It would be a shame if you die by infection.
5. Skill Sneaking to loot and move around the dungeon unseen.
6. Skill Strength or otherwise the Risen Knight will break your legs when you meet him without knowing how he works.

Classes

The Classes only give you your start equipment for the dungeon! The class has no effect on the stats!

  • Health Potion: ID 7041, Epic, +50 Health, cures wounds, can be dropped by enemys or chests
  • large Health Potion: ID 7044, legendary, +75 health, cures wounds
  • Small Fortitude Potion: ID 7040, rare, +25 immunity, cures wounds, can be dropped from enemys or chests, can be bought at the Alchimist
  • Fortitude Potion: ID 7042, Epic, +50 immunity, cures wounds, can be dropped by enemys or chest, can be bought at the Alchimist
  • Large Fortitude Potion: ID 7045, Legendary, +75 immunity, cures wounds
  • Small Energy Potion: ID 7039, rare, +30 stamina, can be dropped by enemys or chests, can be bought at the Alchimist
  • Enery Potion: ID 7043, Epic, +65 stamina, can be dropped by enemys or chests, can be be bought at the Alchimist
  • Large Energy Potion: ID 7046, Legendary, +100 stamina
  • Stones: ID 7090, Can be used to distract enemys, stones deal no damage, can be found on the floor of all dungeon rooms
Ammo
  • Arrows
    -Arrows are the ammunition of all Bows
    -The players can get Arrows from Quivers (ID 7022). Each Quiver gives the player 6 maple arrows
    -every time an arrow got shot, it loses durability but it can be picked up until the arrow breaks
  • Hemlock Potion
    -Hemlock Potions are the ammunition of the potion canons
    -The Chemist spawns with 7 Hemlock Potions
    -The player can get the Potions from salvaging Hemlock Setchels (ID 7038). There are 3 diffrent salvage options. The first gives you 4 Hemlock Potions (ID 7031). The second gives you 2 2xHemlock Potions (ID 7032). The third will give you a 3xHemlock Potion (ID 7033) and a normal Hemlock Potion. There is a 4xHemlock Potion (ID 7034) too but you cant get it from salvaging a Setchel.
  • Crystals
    -Small Mana Crystal: ID 7062, Rare, +10 mana, used to refill crystals
    -Mana Crystal: ID 7063, Epic, +20 mana, used to refill crystals
    -Large Mana Crystal: ID 7064, Legendary, +40 mana, used to refill crystals
    -Light Crystal: ID 7066, Common, 20 mana
    -Small Nature Crystal: ID 7065, Rare, 10 mana, can't be used by Staff of Light
    -Volatile Crystal: ID 7067, Epic, 15 mana, can't be used by Staff of Light and Staff of Nature
    -Energy Crystal: ID 7068, Legendary, 30 mana, can't be used by Staff of Light, Staff of Nature and Staff of Fire
Key
The Key gives you the option to flee from a Boss by spawning a randomly placed exit door in the boss room.

Enemys

Types
  • Normal: No special attack; normal movement; normal damage; normal health
  • Crawler: Slow movement; normal damage; much health
  • Sprinter: Very fast movement; normal damage; pure health
  • Burning Zombies: explodes when killed; normal movement; normal damage; normal health
  • Spitter: Can spit a blue acid on the cound wich makes damage by contact; normal movement; normal damage; normal health
  • Invisible: Will be transparent (purple silhouette) and try to attack from behind; fast Movement; normal damage; little health
  • Mega: Big Zombie; can throw big rocks (very much damage); fast movement; much damage; very much health

Bosses
  • The Necromancer
    The Necromancer is a giant cultist with a lot of health standing in the middle of a pentagramm on top of a small pyramid. He will be found in RMB0.The adds in this room are 4 Cultists each standing in a corner of the pyramid. All of the Cultists are Spitters . The boss him self shoots lightning bolts on the player with a 100% hit chance but the player can also use 4 big pillars as cover .

  • The Risen Knight
    The Risen Knight is a giant, heavily armored knight with a lot of health. He will be found in RMB1. The adds in this room are many Knights (Normal Zombies, Crawlers and Runners). The Boss stands on top of his own grave. He can cast the earthquake ability wich has a great radius, deals a lot of damage and can break the players legs if he doesn't skilled strength enough. The player can use the small floors on both sides of the room to get him stuck or to trick the AI - Pathfinding to keep him busy while the player regenerates stamina.

  • The Lord of Fire
    The Lord of Fire is a giant enemy with with a lot of health. He will be found in RMB2. This room is a big throne room. The adds in this rooms are skeletons (Normal Zombies) with more health than the normal skeletons. The Lord of Fire will explode when he dies.

Dungeon
  • Tavern:
    The Tavern is the Adventurers Saferoom
    It has the saferoom-effect
    Traders:
    -Blacksmith (sells weapons)
    -Alchimist (sells Potions)
    The Innkeeper:
    -He gives you free drinks wich restore hunger and thirst
    -He tells you to go to the Old Man if you want to enter the dungeon
    The Old Man:
    -Interact with him and he will allow you to choose a Class and to enter the dungeon
    Other NPCs (no Quests)
    Adventurer:
    -He hates Libraries
    Sailor:
    -Loves Gold
    Caravan Owner:
    -Wants loot but dont want to get it himself out of the dungeon
    Wanderer:
    -"The bow is mightier than the sword! In most cases ..."
    Explorer
    -Has much seen but hates the magicians
  • RMBegin:
    -This is the first room of the dungeon.
    -It has 3 small pillars in the middle of the room.
    -Each of the pillars has an item on it but you can only take one!

    -red Water far below the bridge

    -has a paltform with a guillotin
    -there is a grid of metal bars under the platform, the player model fits through the holes in the grid, it leads to a small room with 2 doors, one leads back to the RM8 (the room you are in) and the other one leads to another room
    -can spawn the Executioner
    -can spawn gold
    -can spawn chests
  • RM9:
    -big room
    -it is a library
    -only spawns cultists
    -can spawn gold
    -can spawn chests
  • RM10:
    -big room
    -very long corridor with many corners
    -many enemys
    -can spawn mega
    -can spawn gold
    -can spawn chests
    -"carefull with what you are doing! the walls are thin"
    -Some Players report some floating bricks in this room
  • RM11:
    -medium room
    -a corridor
    -enemys
    -can spawn gold
    -can spawn chests
  • RM12:
    -medium room
    -spawn in a small yard
    -staircase goes up to the door
    -some enemys
    -can spawn gold

go to your folder where steam is and add this steamapps\workshop\content\304930\1186318457\Tales of Terror\Bundles\Items\ToT choose the catagory, choose the item, and click the (item name).dat file and you can find ids for all and information for them
