just copy that in your game ini . also i havent testet much on the island but on my ragnarok server they all spawn so it should work also on the island. are other alphas spawning tho ?
hehe ok will decrease spawnrates for em then ty for letting me know
ty good to know will fix ofc
We might be taking a bit of a break for Ark, but as promised I've taken notes while playing with OgAlphas. Take them as you will.
=== General ===
- Option to disable alpha glow (suggested elsewhere too, would be nice)
- Remove glow on Crafting Station, it's nearly impossible to place decently. Maybe also add option to pick it up again (like S+).
=== Castoroides ===
- Doesn't protect their Alpha dams/huts (can't remember their name), so they're very easy to loot.
=== Rock Drake ===
- Eggs might not spawn on non-Abberration maps? We played on Shigo Island (works well with your mod), and I couldn't for the life of me find any eggs near the Rock Drakes that spawned.
=== Ankylo ===
- Radial menu not working, as already mentioned.
- Generates Charcoal when melting.
- Doesn't melt when you're logged out or outside rendering distance, so you need to stay near it.
- The fire animation when it's melting turns on when outside rendering distance, so you have to turn it on and back off, if you want it gone.
- 75% weight reduction on metal and wood, think it should only be metal?
- Can level crafting skill - quite nice, but not sure if it's intended. The Doedicurus can't do that.
- The model is quite large, so you barely fit in the camera. Maybe downscale a little or move the cam further away.
=== Doedicurus ===
- Radial menu not working, as already mentioned.
- Generates Charcoal when melting.
- Doesn't melt when you're logged out or outside rendering distance, so you need to stay near it.
- 75% weight reduction on metal and wood, think it should only stone instead.
=== Thylacoleo ===
- Model might be a bit off, have had trouble with it's tail and poop comes out on the side of it. This is quite untested so don't react unless someone else confirms, I think it stopped after I moved it.
=== Argentavis ===
- Broken in the new TLC patch, but that's mentioned elsewhere as well.
=== Polar Bear ===
- Just FYI it worked fine from what I got to test. They were white with a blue glittery glow. I knocked a few out but they always got molested before the tame was complete.
=== STATS ===
I'm not going to rant too much here, but I did notice that Carno's HP are way up (15-20k) and the rest is more or less normal. I don't know how modding works, but maybe average them a bit more so Alphas gain 50-100% more stats per level than the regular as a rule of thumb.
That being said, I really loved the carry weight on the harvesters, although my Alpha Quetz couldn't carry my Ankylo home after a metal run ;-)
=== Colors ===
This is mostly the GF talking, but she thought it was a shame that dinos are so colorful and alphas are only red/white scheme. So maybe way (way) down the road they could have some other colors for variation. When you only go for taming alphas, the army looks very red-tinted.
On a somewhat similar, someone mentioned the cuts on Carnos (and possibly Raptors), they are slightly confusing but it's not all that bad. They have the health to survive most things anyway.
All the above is just meant as bugs/thoughts, and I do overall enjoy the mod and am planning on keeping it on the server.
Sometimes it can be a bit demoralizing just to be handed a list of stuff that's broken, but don't let that knock you out. It's a great mod and I think there's a room for such a mod - it's the only real alpha mod out there, so keep up the good work!
