Do you want to be a voice actor for this mod? Let me know in the comments below!
We are still looking for more voice actors who can deliver a convincing death scream in all the languages used by ArmA 3's characters. Generic screams, gurgles etc. are all welcome, though if you can convincingly cry/talk etc. in the deathscream that would be even better! It is important however that you have a good microphone that is static-free, so please do consider that in advance before submitting! Thanks in advance :)

Also, when submitting anything, please make sure you save the files as .ogg files. This saves me a lot of work down the line.

As for naming conventions, we have several categories: Language, Generic, Head, and hopefully soon Hit. We use those in combination with nicknames. So for example, if I record a sound that has spoken English in it, I call it: ENG_SiC_1. If there is no spoken language in it, I call it GEN_SiC_1, and so on with Head and Hit as well.
Language and Generic can be as long as you want, though to have a few short ones will be good as well. Headshots need to be gurgles, but nothing recognizable. Hit sounds need to be very short, just to have characters yell "Ah!" when they get hit. Anything longer might get overlapped by a death scream if the character dies to a second shot.

I also heavily recommend using a pop filter, which will reduce the sound levels of 'harsh' sounds like the P and S produce. It will greatly reduce any static noises that might be produced by louder screams. If you don't have a pop filter, you can easily improvise one by following the steps in the following link:
https://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Pop-Filter

For quick and easy sharing of files, I have a Discord channel called 'A SiC Discord Channel' that you are welcome to join. Link here:

Hello, I would really like to contribute to your mod. I think I have what it takes (hopefully the microphone will be enough). Add me if you're interested.

Cool. Can both of you record some sample files and send them to me with a dropbox link or something like that?

I'd like to help too, im just warding how long the recording should be for their respective catagories, cause i got a couple already recorded im just afraid their either too long or too short.

Personally I like having longer screams. Not everyone might agree but then it's my mod so :D

I'd love to help assist in the making of this mod! I'm inspired by the death sounds found in RO2 and RS much like you, so I feel that I have a good understanding of how this works.

I own a good microphone and would be more than happy to supply you with audio files, and I understand what you're looking for and can get started soon.

There is a feeling that the sound is in your ears, but not somewhere near, 10 meters or more, for example.
To all I'm ready to be an actor for recording. Good mic.
