In defense of lack of metallics.
Thematically, unlike the grineer the corpus are from what seems to be atleast, more partial to alloys dipped in ceramics and polymers or plastics.

Yeah, I designed it loosely off the Arca stuff. I didn't want to go full blown metallic and make it too robotic.

exactly, you did a wonderful job. You can imagine this being employed as a security proxy on a trade frigate and controlled by a tenno whom is part of the Perrin Sequence.
