CTD bug
Ok, since I do not have this crash to desktop bug on my end, and I make no edits to art assets or UI or anything else that would obviously cause a crash, I'm guessing this has to do with some combination of other mods and load order. If you are having this bug, please list all the mods you are using.

In addition, try unsubscribing and resubscribing to the mod or disabling and enabling it.

OK, I just found out that the mod makes me crash even if it is the only mod active. So for me it isn't a mod conflict. I can try reinstalling the mod tomorrow and see if that fixes it.

Oh, I hadn't thought to check that! I'll give that a try later.

When you say it crashes, you do mean a Crash to Desktop right? Not booting you out to the main menu?
corro 10 Nov, 2017 @ 2:54pm
I'm talking about an actual game crash yes, this is the only mod that causes it for me :/
Atlas  [developer] 10 Nov, 2017 @ 3:42pm
At some point during development, I disabled all other mods just to test this one. *Then* it started crashing. I made a new copy of the mod and deleted all the outdated mods I no longer used, and then it worked fine. I have been looking through the files and I still don't see anything that should cause a crash...

Sorry you are a guinea pig for this. I know how frustrating it is when you just want to play some Civ but now these mods are getting in the way instead of enhancing the experience =(

I'm having the same issue as corro. I disabled all my other mods and it crashes, even after resubscribing.
corro 11 Nov, 2017 @ 4:39am
hey i'm just happy to help, i'm sure if it crashes for us it'll crash for more people. At least now you know something is happening.
Rain 11 Nov, 2017 @ 6:56am
Don't feel bad about having us be guinea pigs. At least you know there's an issue, as corro said.
Rain 11 Nov, 2017 @ 7:25am
Also, this isn't going to be a fun revelation, but I seem to be having this issue with your religion mod as well.
Atlas  [developer] 11 Nov, 2017 @ 12:32pm
That is utterly bizarre. I'm wondering if it's a bug with the base game as of the most recent patch? I've been using my Religion mod since... I think before Poland was even released, and never had a crash. The formatting and type of content is the same as many other mods, and I don't think they crash.

It might also be possible that it is actually another disabled mod that is crashing. For some reason, Civ sometimes loads disabled mods. One thing I did to make the crashing stop was to delete many of my unused mods.

Can you list your unused mods?
Atlas  [developer] 11 Nov, 2017 @ 3:06pm
Also, when do these crashes occur? During loading of a new game? Saved game? During gameplay?

Can you check your Modding log file after a crash?
Rain 12 Nov, 2017 @ 8:11am
The crashes occur during the loading screen upon starting a game.

Here's the modding log[drive.google.com]
Atlas  [developer] 12 Nov, 2017 @ 1:40pm
Doesn't look like anything is wrong with my mods in that log, though it is trying to load many other mods and is having minor errors for those. Still shouldn't cause a crash...

I notice a lot of Mac files. Are you running a Mac? I don't know why/if that would even cause issues though
Rain 13 Nov, 2017 @ 9:06am
I'm not running a mac (I'm using windows), so I've no idea why its mentioning mac files.
