Sorry you are a guinea pig for this. I know how frustrating it is when you just want to play some Civ but now these mods are getting in the way instead of enhancing the experience =(
It might also be possible that it is actually another disabled mod that is crashing. For some reason, Civ sometimes loads disabled mods. One thing I did to make the crashing stop was to delete many of my unused mods.
Can you list your unused mods?
Can you check your Modding log file after a crash?

I notice a lot of Mac files. Are you running a Mac? I don't know why/if that would even cause issues though
