Oberon Blade of the Lotus - Skin & Alt Helm

Too fantasy looking.
If you were to say look a the Palatine Rhino deluxe skin that is the kind of look that I feel needs to be approached if you are looking at fantasy inspiration. It has fanatsy inspiration and yet fits into the Warframe theme. Like your other two skins which I put some critique to, I doubt the symbols will be accepted. Now if you want symbols then Orokin speech is stamped on some Warframe's which might be more acceptable.

The gems will have to go and I honestly think the blue is too bright and overstated. The 'visor/eyeholes' don't look too bad but I think something a little more less saturated would do.
They might need to be incoporated more into the helmet more, Im not sure of this.

The antlers look a little dull to me. The banner on the back probably won't be accepted because A) It conflicts with syandanas and B) The symbols aren't lore representative.

Are you posting on literally everything this guy makes with the same reply? I think you need to let it go. There's already a Nova skin where she's wearing a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ flight assisant hat.
Also the gems are there on oberon by default and the syandanna is a seperate upload, not part of the skin.

This seems more like an opinion, not a rule. Not sure where you get the idea that embellishments or "symbols" are not in the warframe theme and wont be accepted, but it looks fine with them. As for the main complaint, Oberon is quite fantastical lore wise, in our world and theirs. For the King of Fay I honestly would expect a very detailed armour.

My two cents to yours.

"Too fantasy looking" on the frame literally named and themed after the king of fairies.

there is titania, a fairy (and solstice skins seemingly inspired by celtic designs), and the frost harka skin which is embellished quite a bit too. keep in mind what they already have accepted or made themselves. plus, variety and an exploration in different looks isn't bad. people have outright submitted joke tennogen. ultimately, DE will figure out what they want.

Someone hasn't seen Oberon's deluxe skin. Or Rhino's.

Ok, valid criticism is valid

However

The two "rules" in particular that are constantly ignored on tennogen are the No Eye's rule, as well as the the broad stupid It Doesn't Fit Warframe shtick
A quality skin is going to get accepeted because it's a quality skin

I personally love this skin and the only thing I agree with is the dull horns, but dull as in texture maybe? Idk but the horns/antlers feel like somethings missing. Other than that, I simply adore all the work put into this skin and the results we see that came out.

The devs admit they made a mistake letting that in. They won't be doing it again.

I have seen them, and they fit into the Warframe style in an organic way, their detail has purpose and fits. They meld into the Warframe and I would say Beastbuster's Banshee skin is an effort that is mostly true of the Warframe ethos because it moulds itself succesfully into the Warframe.

And no Oberon doesn't really have gems on its front, I would suggest looking at it again.

My ass. The guidelines are a joke. Faven is pretty much given special notice to everything he makes, even tho they all contain eye's and other aspects that you arent supposed to make. It's not something we should be complaining about anyway

Everyone has a different view of what "fits" in with warframe. I wouldnt trust DE to ever put a hard line stance on whether or not it fits, now or ever, soley because of the good quality that comes out of items that dont

If this is "too fantasy looking" then I think Dynasty Chroma shouldn't be in the game as well. Nova Asuri skin too - too reminiscent of its origin. And no, Feyarch skin is in no way fitting or melding, its a tree-man with fairy skirt (just to point it out: I love this skin), and in no way branches on helmet and arms are practical, nor are those skinny, puny legs. Using your argument: it's too fantasy looking, as it's literally an interpretation of a forest spirit (which it's supposed to be, considering the Silver Grove).
Oberon is based on a king of fairies, design is druidic and abilities that of a paladin. I see no reason this skin shouldn't be accepted.

Wow I am touched to see people stepping up in defense of my design! Lots of good points made.

The color of the gems are tied into the energy color so they can be changed to be duller or less saturated if you so choose.

Well -I- think it looks fantastic, especially with the syandana. If Earth ever gets some kind of evergreen forest tileset, this would so match the theme.

A shame, considering that it's one of the more imaginative helmets.

Honestly you made the best counter point possible.

If DE can add the Feyarch skin themselves, then this isn't too fantasy looking. Feyarch is THE least 'warframey' and most fantasy looking skin in the entire game (also one of the best IMO) and it's an official skin.
