Sovereign - Blade of the Lotus Syandana
Something Off InGame
So I went to take a look at the Syandana to see it in game. Something is really off about it.....

I was thinking it would flow like the Repala but it doesn't. It moves like the rubber syandanas. The part on the back to me seems larger than the screenshot on steam. On female small frames like Zephyr that back piece is massive and causes the cape to DRAG on the floor. The scaling is off somehow Also the design on the metal of the back piece appears to be missing.

@BeastBuster can you look at it in game and see if it is..... off.... I'm not saying you messed up but somewhere between you and DE it got borked I think

Hey man thanks for the heads up. I actually play on console, so I don't currently have a way to look at it myself. I was also hoping it would flow more like the Repala. I saw a youtuber complaining about the physics of another syandana from this round, so I'm wondering if there was some kind of glitch or error....

Hey dude, I did a quick video showing off the Syandana in the arsenal to demonstrate how the physics appear to work with it vs other Syandanas like the Repala, and the Itzvara. Something does seem off about it, it flows like the older official Syandanas, like it's made out of rubber, and only the lower half of it seems to really move at all.

Hey thank you so much for this! Seeing the direct comparison with the Repala definitely makes the difference much more distinct. It is clearly more stiff. I think part of it could be that the skinning treats the cape as one mesh, and not the layers.

I will reach out to DE on Monday with this video and see if there is anything that can be done. I just hope the reason for the discrepancy doesn't have to do with the mesh or its construction as that would mean it probably can't be helped.

Or it could be helped but you have to tweak it? THey have updated skins per the designers recommendation on occasions :)

I just thought more people would mention it so it could get hotfixed LOL

@BeastBuster I got some pics that show some of the issues. Once it is out of the Arsenal it seems to smooth out but it clips like no body's business especially with those frames that have junk in the trunk. Also I feel the back where it connects is a little too bulky but maybe that is how it was designed. Still great job just need physics tweaks. Hope it helps!!!
