Crashed my game, didn't even pay rent

I am also seeing this, when run with "Really Advanced Setup" (v15). However it also happens when I use another mod with RAS, "Nuclear Expanded 3" (v4), without Chemical Warfare. Indeed, it's more common with that mod. When I use all 3 together I also get a crash. These crashes are common, but not every time. It seems to happen immediately on pressing the "Begin Your Journey" button, and once past that everything runs fine (though I haven't played a game past a bit into the classical era with these mods yet so I can't be sure of that). I am using v1 of Chemical Warfare, on mac osx sierra.
