Sid Meier's Civilization VI

Sid Meier's Civilization VI

Downtown Area District
Compatability issue
I know its not the sort of thing to complain about as its a risk we all take when using several mods, but i have a nagging issue regarding this mod.

it seems that i can not play the game if this mod is enabled along with my other mods. The game simply sends me back to the main menu after a few seconds of "loading game"

this is clearly a compatability issue but because the game is not crashing, i have no way of knowing what mod is causing the issue. if anyone has any leads to what may be the problem please inform me

i think i just found the issue... was a wild guess but i disabled the "Removable Districts" mod by TC. this may be helpful for anyone who might also be using that mod

The author of that mod hasn't updated that mod in a while. If they do get back on at some point and update, I'll reach out to them for compatibility.

Sorry to necro this but I thought that perhaps as an idea (and speaking of removable districts), you could also give an option to be able to remove the downtown district for people like me who completely read your note wrong.
I read as do NOT place near the city center. I realised too late that I had read it incorrectly. lol
It might also help with that glitch you mentioned.

I can look into it but I would need to get permission from the original creator because I don't know how to create that code and I wouldn't want to use it without permission.
