Ultimately Valve would decide which weapons the war paint would apply, should they choose to accept this into the game. Above I chose 12 weapons to showcase this skin off, but in reality I could have the skin apply to all available weapons that allow war paint application.

same here, i would love to use this paint on Kritzkreg, or the Cleaner's Carbine.

I fear that the kritzkrieg and cleaners carbine will never get a reskin, because their model looks so similar to other weapons, that if they got a warpaint, they'd look so similar it'd hurt gamneplay.
For the same reason the eyelander, the fronier justice, the scottish resistance, the pretty boys pistol, the winger, the atomizer, enz, enz won't get warpaints either.
This is probably also why they made the Holy Mackeral warpaintable, instead of the bat.

The only weapons I could still see getting warpaintable are the Huntsman, the Direct Hit, the Vaccinator, the Bottle or the Ullapool Caber, the Warrior's Spirit and the Escape Plan or Equalizer.
