Things to Expect for the Upcoming Update
Hi everyone!

I would like to first express my sincere thanks and appreciation for all of the support this addon has received for the past 2.5 years. As a first upload, lots of things are in definite need of polishing -- a retrospection that will soon be fleshed out in an upcoming update that I am currently preparing to release.

For sake of transparency, here's what to expect for the next update with regard to approaches:

NPCs to Receive Own Addon
  • While NPCs are a welcomed feature by many, not everyone may want to utilize them (of not at least all of the time). To provide users the convenience of being able to choose what they want to use moment by moment, the NPC components will be removed from this addon and re-purposed into their own expansion pack.

  • Separation of NPCs will also help to reduce file size of the main addon (this one) and make more suitable for server use without needing to crack open the .gma to remove bloat.

  • I will make certain to upload the NPC pack as soon as possible -- consider this not to be a reduction in content, but rather a re-consolidation.



Old Bodygroups -- Repurposing for New Obese Male Variants
  • Shirt bodygroups (i.e., Brony, Awesome Face, Furry, Tourettes Guy) and alternate skin pigmentation bodygroups (i.e., Joey, Huey) will be removed, but repurposed into their own standalone Obese Male variants.

  • Similarly to NPCs, active use of several of the 'joke' bodygroups may not be seen by everyone. Application uses for the extraneous shirts is also possibly very limited, especially since they are not the best quality for the time when I created them.

  • The restructuring has made way for simplifying shirts down to 'Plain' and '5' styling, as well as making room for more pants bodygroups (different colors) and adding hair bodygroups.

  • Hat and spectacle bodygroups remain included.



An Optimized Obese Male Template -- For Everyone!
I've done the best in my ability to optimize the Obese Male model without having to reach out for assistance.That is to say, I:

  • Cleaned up vertices (e.g., lumpy head, mouth)
  • Completely repainted weights
  • Added TTT hitboxes
  • Added missing finger and toe bones
  • Improved collision mesh

Probably other things I'm forgetting, but yeah: much of the progress was a learn-as-you-go sort of experience that took a bit of time. What's missing for now are eye posing and face posing -- a whole 'nother different can of worms.

With the optimizations in mind, everyone will have access to a premiere iteration of Obese Male once the update hits the Workshop.

I plan to create new iterations in the future, and would be excited to see creations that others can come up with. :) ***
