What about the people who don't read the comics?
There are some people out there who play TF2 and yet do not read the comics, for them this would make 0 sense, therefore there is a very low chance of valve adding this, still it's amazing :)

Never say never tbh.

Like, despite anything, even those who do not follow the comics do know who Zhanna is. And if we put this on a perspective, even Saxton hale outside of the Jungle Update and the comics outside was not that known.
So yeah, never say never.

People dont even know miss pauling, and she is on the front of most of the late updates
Same for saxton hale
And still people dont recognize them as tf characters in their pocket versions
Same for item that are from other videogames like the vita saw, the concept of the original, the righteous bison (that is a real life steampunk weapon), the rift weaps and so on
In conclusion, I strongly believe that it is not a problem for people if a small part of them dont know Zhanna

First of all, TF2SP for life! w00t.
Second of all, if anything I like items that relate to the comic. It makes people think "Oh, this character is weird. I wonder who she is?" So they look her up and find her in the comics and then read the comics and discover how great they are!

Briefing for people who haven't read the comics yet: Zhanna is Heavy's sister and Soldier's girlfriend. She fights with a shovel attached to her severed wrist.

Also she fights nakedly with soldier.

she was the face of a whole ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ update. I'm pretty sure you don't need to read the comics to know who she is.

Really, you don't get much out of much of the character outside of the Mercs, as those characters (Hale, the Admin, Redmond, Blutarch, Hell even Pauling) have little actual in-game appearances, so I say this is fair game.
