Wayfarer's Gear Repair?

I took the skill to repair gear on my Wayfarer, but I cannot figure out how to use it or how it is supposed to function. The character appears to meet all of the requirements and have the 5 points trained in the skill, but I cannot find any option to repair her gear.

If it's like the magic Wanderer class, then you gotta get the ability first from a scroll (either by buying or crafting it) and then the Wayfarer's skills enhance it to be much better then the default ability.
