Suggested Weapons And Improvements
This is my favorite rimworld mod, I got sick of seeing all the raiders use the same few guns and didnt like the low varity of firearms. This mod fixed all those problems by adding tons of guns that fit the art style and are balanced while rebalancing weapon progression!

I'd like to give ideas to help improve the mod and of course more guns.

Orignally I wanted a double barrel to be added but you already got that so here are some more ideas I got.



Some type of semi automatic rifle (sks, mini 14, etc)

Maybe some more handguns revolvers and automatic (glock's, m1911, python, desert eagle, etc)

Revolver grenade launcher or possibly sometype of RPG (Milkor, RPG7, SMAW, etc)

SBR's and carbines both new and old carbines ( Leveraction carbine, colt 9mm carbine, etc)



These are just some ideas if your going to add new guns to the pack. Go ahead and comment some of your own ideas and improvements.

by the way, it would be nice to add the desert eagle , call it "heavy handgun"

Gatling gun emplacement. Slower more powerful Western Era Weapon. Useful for defence.

Okay, I really do like this mod, and I was wondering, because we have things like converted bolt-action rifles and automatic battle rifles, like would there possibly be any researches to make modified weapons of those sort of things? Like a special research that requires getting access to a certain structure or the sort that'll let you build alternate weapons?

Oh and secondly, would there possibly be any way to make the General Purpose Machine Gun avaialble to be made? Having it as a turret part yet not be readily available makes it kind of odd, espeically when you can easily make light machine guns and gatling guns for those turrets.

and I think that everything is fine, as is, to maintain a balance

and by the way, I did not make the weapons except melee...or onions....the rest were picked up from the corpses and bought

Early-Modern Security Items. ( Western, WW1, WW2) Such As, Gatling guns, trenchs, water-cooled MGs, and maybe a light howitzer? This would help fit early defence into the times, allowing for a earlier more secured colony.

Yes, it would be cool to dig trenches and set up barbed wire near a heavy machine gun

and have a good heavy artillery...
I like the idea of a "heavy revolver" and "heavy autopistol" visually based off a Walker Colt and a Desert Eagle respectively. Stats-wise they'd hit hard enough to down anything smaller than an adult muffalo in one shot but suffer from poor accuracy, representing their hellacious recoil, and be good for short-range predator defence but not much else.

And is there any chance of making it possible for other modders to create factions that can manufacture some of the bonus weapons? A playable bandit gang who churn out their own sawn-offs, for example, or a remnant of whatever government that controlled this rimworld before whatever happened to create all those ruins that still knows how to make the bullpup rifle family.

Maybe look towards more Future type weapons as well. It is very bizzare the best guns are from our time when they should be somewhere in the middle. Maybe consider coil guns or other types of metal shard throwers for the late game to really put that new power armor to the test.

also, the muzzle loader tech is cute and I get a good chuckle when a raider pops up with a pipe rifle, but I dont even bother with the stuff and get right into the cold war era tech. I guess if someone wants to play with civil war era tech for flavor, at least they have the option.

Yes, more heavy defense options would be wonderful, trenches, moats, barbwire and Artillery would be wonderful, I am sick of bulding pathing traps.

Wondering if possible the composite vest could be made into a underlying armor peice so i can put on jackets and such to keep my colonists warm
