Dunkirk Feedback/Suggestions
Comments
- Commercial is actually three shops with names: library, tarvern and Artus.
- The slightly darker ground indicates depressions ie. ditches and craters
- Rusty is a weird one: it's the Royce (the cars are Rolls Royce-ish), but it's the only one that's rusty as hell.
- F1, F2 and F3 are the three burning trucks.
Current concerns
- Names could be used for the three ditches that lead to the plane.
- The beach is weird because there are common camping spots, but they exist because the truck is in the right place or the hill is just right. I'm not sure how to name such spots.
- I'm not sure if its necessary to differentiate between Butcher and Huygelen.

Moved over suggestions below from the discontinued guide page to this new one so it's all in one place for ease of reference!

*The font for Dunkirk fits nicely! The only thing is it's a little on the light side, a darker colour would help readability The font itself fits the feeling of Dunkirk nicely though!

*A small nitpick is the bottom of Dunkirk would look nice with the shoreline and sea, but that's really trivial. Something to add way later on for polish I guess :)

- Made font darker
- Changed Huygelen to Huygel
- Updated misalignment issues with Ripolin
- Made font darker
- Added some more ground depressions near the boat
- Made the cover lines solid to increase visiblity
* Forgot to add a doorway in this image

The depression south of the boat have water in them, but the waterline doesn't make it into the overview.

Very nice!

I like the cover now with the solid lines!

Font and colour of the labels are good too! I haven't seen the maps in game yet myself, but if the text is still difficult to read while pressing the map key, maybe making them bolder might help? I don't know if this is an issue or not though.

For area between Warehouse & Home, Hide would be a funny name as a joke haha. Smokes maybe? Tunnel since there's nowhere to go there but south till the little alley or the main street? Stuck? If there's an MG on that position you're pretty stuck haha.

Crates for area East of Apartments? Box Alley?

Tuck, Crawl & Duck for the three ditches since you're down low? Down, Low, or Shade maybe?
