Here are some console commands you should look at:
"z_common_limit"
"director_special_respawn_interval"
"z_mob_spawn_max_size" (mob = "Incoming attacks)
"z_mega_mob_spawn_size" (mega mob = "Panic events")
Note: z_common_limit only effects how many infected can naturally spawn in the world and will not effect the size of a "Incoming attack" or a "Panic event" those are controlled separately.
The only way to active these commands is by following these steps:
1. Go to developer console
2. Type "map c1m1_hotel unitedcoop" (we're using Dead Center as an example, at the end of whatever map you chose to pick put "unitedcoop" at the end of the command)
3. Once you load into the level of choice type "sv_cheats 1"
The commands I provided you have certain default values, you can alter as you like, but be aware that altering these values to be too high may result in crashing your game or your PC.
If you have any more questions about other commands you would like to alter your game, please let me know! Or you can go to Google and type "Console Commands | Left 4 Dead Wiki" (Note: I cannot guarantee that this website is secure, use it at your own discretion). Though if you reply to this comment I will be notified and happy to assist you
