It is the Sonoran Desert and it is a far cry better to live in than the deserts in vanillla Rimworld. There's plenty of wildlife, edible plants, and trees are whever there is water, even if only during the monsoons.

The current desert is just horrible. There's hardly any wood resources, barely any plants, and not even a tenth of the wildlife of other biomes. This may represent an extreme desert, but there is already a biome called that and it is worse. Rimworld needs livable deserts like the Sonoran.

Please consider enhancing vanilla deserts or making your own special desert biome in a future update. Thanks for reading!
