Awesome... except for all the bot issues. 3/5 stars.

Dark Blood looks and plays great most of the time, keeping up a good pace through unique, memorable environments. Its tanker ship and oil rig both feel as authentic as I could hope for in L4D2, moving between open expanses and claustrophobic corridors without ever being too confusing. The horde events are also fun! I highly recommend Dark Blood... if you have 3 friends available.

Yes, the A.I. navigation is shockingly poor. Bots on both "teams" regularly get stuck, especially near ladders, and it can easily cause unfair deaths. The oil rig maps are also quite janky. Map 3's randomized pathways are very buggy (especially for A.I.) and there are some absurdly lethal trap rooms full of explosive barrels. In Map 4, the finale unexpectedly starts simply by climbing a ladder, and bots won't climb into the rescue vehicle because the game never tells you it arrived.

This campaign rocks with 4 people, but you might skip it if you're by yourself.
