Feedback / Ideas / Help develop it further?
Hi

I really wanted to have a map of this region where I grow up.
However, it was not that easy to create the map nicely (heightmap details)
Looked a bit into mission scripting but decided to leave this topic off for the moment.
So I kept it as a map. The initial goal was to make a mission like the one in the real game (Gotthard).

I have to say, the performance is a big issue, after around some years it gets crazy slow so the map is too big I think. (Let's hope the performance update will improve this)

Maybe you have some feedback, further ideas, want to contribute something etc. then please let me know. I would love to hear something or get some help getting new things done!

I speak Swiss German (German) and English.

Hey, I love this great map! I have one piece of feedback tho, I am missing a coal mine on the 5k map... Not sure if this is going to be a problem with the steel mill.

Thanks for the feedback! I will check it whenever I got some more time, I hope you can workaround this issue with placing manually the missing coal mine...

Hi! I tried to link the oil field with the oil refinery on the 5k map - it is quite a long distance across the map and no cargo is generated it seems. Is it a known issue? I have a truck connection from the oil source to Brienz, then train to Kandersteg, and truck connection from there to the oil refinery. Is there a workaround?

Great work on this map. Ive been going to the area since i was very young.

I would love a version of the map from the alps northwards, so the map cut in half, is this possible please?

Sorry I don't have the time anymore, to do something with the map. I did this map 1 year ago.
Feel free to modify / customize the map.
