I do want to make more custom troops for the towns, so i would be glad to work on that.

add freellancer
each kingdom should hsve unique troop trees!
but the troops shouldnt stray from native to much fe swadian land = swadian like units (ex Knights, Men at arms for swadian controled cities
nvm i read ur discription before i wrote that XD
Also btw there is this mod (diplo based) that adds player kingdom troop trees ( a great idea that i hope to see in bannerlord but prob wont )

Actually, since these are city-states, they should all have practically the same troop trees, e.x. Swadian lands -> swadian troops trees, renamed. Otherwise it won't feel as balanced/realistic

Also please add freelancer, that would be amazing

Yeah but maybe for each different fac (i.e. all the swadian ones) you could have on that can only produce knights and another that can only do sharpshooters. this makes the game more varied but also relates to the base game... so when you cap all swadian town you can get all the troops

Well, no, not ONLY produce knights, because that wouldn't make sense. These are city-states, not branches of a troop tree. They should all have the same troop tree up until T3, at which one may produce T4 knights, one produces T4 xbows, one produces T4 Sergents.

Maybe the nobles that owned the towns in vanilla should be the leaders of each faction?
