Compatibility & Bug Reports
Post about issues you have with the mod, including errors caused by conflicts with other mods, here. Please include the error log and a description of what was happening when the error was created if possible. If you are able to reproduce the error reliably, include the steps necessary to do so.

PLEASE READ: The error you get when you attempt to use Prepare Carefully while Psychology's sexuality changes are turned off is on PC's end. It is not an error with this mod.

This seems to conflict with Prepare Carefully, not sure if it is something on your end but will also inform EdB about this as well.

I've not got a Psyche tab. Not much other info I can give beyond that.

Edit- Other than the fact that I have like 100 other mods, a few of which add tabs. Not sure if it's a confliction issue though. I can check if you want.

Edit 2- Took it upon myself and removed all my extra tab mods and can confirm still no psyche tab

Last Edit- Noodled with settings for a bit and it's working. Can't remember what I did, but I did something. Sorry

I have tested it with Prepare Carefully, shouldn't be on this end.

A bit of a compatibility issue with Androids mod, worth mentioning. That mod now has droid pawns, that are supposed to be totally incapable of anything social. With Psychology on, they also get their Psyche tab, while they probably shouldn't. Will post to Androids's mod author about it as well.

Same problem as jontherobot, this mod is running and no errors. I can access the settings, but there's no psyche tab on my pawns.

I have 37 mods installed in total, but all *seem* to be working well together. I only just added this mod to an existing game save.

EDIT: I fired up a new colony and the mod works nicely, everything as expected, so it's just an existing save where it doesn't work - is there any way to add this to an existing save?

EDIT 2: With my existing save, any *new* pawns to enter the map have a psyche tab and the mod works properly with them - seems just my existing colonists don't have a psyche tab. I guess because the mod hasn't generated psyche stats for them? Is there a way to get it to do this?

EDIT 3: Aha! I searched through feedback on the A17 mod and found this from the author that solves the issue! :)

Open the text editor of your choice. Use it to open the file with the same name as your save. It will be in XML format, which you can Google a picture of if you are unfamiliar. Use Ctrl-F or Ctrl-H to open up the Replace All dialog. Replace all instances of Class="Pawn" with Class="Psychology.PsychologyPawn". You will only need to do this once per pre-Psychology save.

It isn't a bug. You have to opt your old pawns into the new systems manually.

For anyone needing help getting the psyche tab working, Stormknight's solution works.
On a permanent winter map, election will not happen, because there isn't fall

I didn't do such a thing, but mine works now. I think there was just a mod I had that was conflicting. Donno tbh (Didn't work on both old or new saves, but now works on new saves)

Rim of Madness - Vampires is not compatible with stable Psychology, As reported with the pre-release version, you cannot make your Vamp feed or sip any other pawns (Right click is disabled on pawns, (however not animals)) Vampires will still feed and sip automatically based on their feed settings you just wont have any control. :)

I just found out that the Beautiful trait is not factoring into the pawns' opinions of each other. Is this a bug or intended? Is there a way around it; I would really like to have it useful and it would be a shame if I have to stop using Psychology for it.

It is factoring into how the pawns' conversations affect each other. It simply isn't a flat bonus anymore.

With Call of Cthulu's Elder Things I get a permanent "Matching Apparel" debuff. This is challenging since Elder Thigs don't have any clothing to wear.



EDIT: Issue circumvented by loading Elder Things before Psychology
