Question with hunting
So the objective of hunting is to gain Meat, Bone or Hide. Is that in addition to or instead of the meat you gain from killing danger cards? Or is it the meat you would have gotten otherwise can be changed for Bone or Hide?

Situation 1: +1 of the resource + life meat
Situation 2: life in meat/bone/hide (2 life = 1 meat, 1 bone; or 2 bone, etc)
Situation 3: Life as meat/bone/hide (2 life = 2 meat OR 2 bone OR 2 hide)

Which one is the correct way to handle this? Currently I use situation 1 because it makes sense to me.

I assume you're talking about Nanuks abilty to take either Meat or Bone or Hide.

In his case it would be Situation 3. You basically just decide if you want to swap whatever meat you earned with either bone or hide tokens.

I don't believe I was talking about Nanuks ability. Just Hunting in general, since it's both a "danger" card and a "hunting" card.

Danger cards say "you get meat = life" but then hunting has an image of "meat/bone/hide". It doesn't really make sense that you don't get the meat + also another resource since hunting costs more stamina

No, it does make sense because the image is showing all the different resources in that deck, there are bone, hide and meat cards in the Hunting deck. The Resource cards are the only way to get Bone and Hide (Other than Nanuks ability) It costs more stamina because it has those Meat,Bone and Hide cards in the deck, you just have to draw them to get them or use Nanuk.
