Farming System
Farms can be built anywhere, but there are areas where plants grow best, less or bad.
By researching new technologies, the fertility of the crops increases.

"Farming Basics" is the first step to build up farms, that technology alows you to build up XS farms.XS farms are the smallest way to grow up crops, and they are the most inefficient. Currently there are just XS food crops.

The next step are the S - L farms, which allow to get more crops with better efficiency. The XL farms are unlocked with another technology (Adv. cropsname farming) that allows the highest possible amount of crops with the best efficiency in their biome.

Research: Farming Basics -> "cropsname" farming -> Adv. cropsname farming

Farmers Notebooks:
All farming technologies need "Farmers Notebooks" to be researched, they dropped by farmers, and they buyable at all goods or construction goods, but like all books they are rare.

Hydroponics:
New Crops: Cabbage, Cactus, Corn, Mushrooms, Poppys & Soybean

Adv. Hydroponics
- Lvl 7 Technologie
- This is a larger version of the planter
- Crops: Cabbage, Cactus, Corn, Greenfruit, Hemp, Mushrooms, Poppys, Riceweed, Soybean & Wheatstraw

i've noticed that the crops added by this mod don't die if left unharvested like vanilla crops do

also, have you given any thought to adding tobacco?

Pretty sure they do, there's a timer on the crops just like in vanilla

Great mod and all but where the hell do I go to buy corn? I've seen cabbage every once in a while but I need to buy at least 5 pieces of corn to start out corn farming but I haven't found it in any shop so far. Now I haven't been to every shop in the game but it would be nice to know at least the general areas/factions/biomes the different crops are usually stocked in stores

I've make a small update that increase the rate of "raw corn" , do import and they should be sold.

These Farmer books are anything but rare. Every trader in the Great Desert seems to have them. To get a half-dozen Farmer research books, just wait for a group of starving bandits or outlaw farmers to get into a fight. I think more than half of them have books.

It differs from area to area, in the past it was usually only written that the farmes notebooks are too rare (everything is still in the comments), I always referred to the UC areas.
