Item Suggestions
With 288 signs to play with, there's only so much one man can think up - so I'm taking suggestions for items! Just add your ideas here in this thread, and I might use them. You'll be credited if I use your idea, of course.

Items should all be based on a sign from The Extended Zodiac[hs.hiveswap.com], with the effect relating in some way to the "sign of ___" description (e.g. Arrius shows the map and blocks curses that obscure information, because it is the "Sign of the Visualizer"). I'm only planning for passive items to be added by this mod, so ideas for active items probably won't be accepted.

Convalescent means something along the lines of recovering from an illness FYI.

PHD effect (removes bad pills), gives +2 soul hearts

Might as well give an idea for the symbol I ended up getting.

Sagius, sign of the Traveler (http://hs.hiveswap.com/ezodiac/truesign.php?TS=Sagius)
Get a small random stat up upon entering a new room (New meaning unexplored or dark gray on the minimap). Resets at the beginning of a new floor.

upon taking damage gain a chance to activate a book of shadows effect, increasing by 10% each time you get hit, resetting the chance between rooms. Triggering the effect also resets the chance.


ex; after 3 hits if it hadnt trigger it would be at 30%

Gives a chance on every unexplored room to show (only for that room) either:
Secret rooms
Secret + Super secret rooms
Shop
Item room
Boss room
Sacrifice room
Cursed room
Mini boss room
etc... (divide the rest of the 30% chance among the rooms you could reveal)
Nothing (70% Chance)

Scornius, sign of the radical: 7% chance for a tear to do 5x damage, increases with luck.

don't know any zodiac signs, but an item that acted like holy mantle, but didn't break for the room, but broke permanently after getting hit 5 times in total, would be cool.

Your tears have chance to become homing, have doubled shot speed and fire at closest enemy regardless of direction Isaac is shooting

Kinda like daddy's longleg(invisible familiar), but with emergenecy contract hands. Isn't working while fighting Mom, Mom's Heart and It's Alive

Active item, 6 charges
Upon use: removes pill that you're holding from current pills pool and replaces it with new random pill (pill pool changes permanently in this run)

True Aries
Sign of the Excavator
Increases speed
Deals damage when Isaac runs into enemies (same effect as normal Aries)
Prevents contact damage when Isaac is running fast enough

-Can destroy rocks.
-There's 10% chance to avoid any damage.
-If dodged you shoot 10 poisonous tears similar to Varicose Veins

Better after clearing a room, since you can xploit it with door stop, gold bombs, etc.

Per page: 1530 50
