Questions about mod effects/mechanics
I'm very interested in using this mod, but I have several questions that weren't answered by the description that might influence whether I use it or now:

- When spawning predators/prey, does this mod only spawn predators/prey native to the map in question, or does it randomly pick from all and any predators/prey available in the game?

- Does the maximum prey population change based on the season? e.g. will less prey spawn during the winter than in the summer? It'd be pretty annoying to have large amounts of prey continually spawn in the winter, only to quickly die off due to lack of food. (especially since I also use both No Water, No Life and Permafrost; animals don't have access to water during the winter either, although the author for NWNL is eventually going to let animals drink snow)

- If the prey population drops very low, will predators start leaving the map, similar to how they spawn if the prey population is too high or does a player have to manually cull them?

- Is the rate at which wild animals mate customization (or at least balanced) or are all wild female animals pretty much pregnant 24/7?

If anyone, mod author or not, could answer some or all of these questions, it would be very appreciated

Predators will hunt colonists and colony animals if prey is depleted before leaving the map hungry. There's a setting in the mod to allow for population control, wild animals will stop breeding if there are a lot on the map. If you disable this, then YES, female animals are almost always pregnant. Spawns independent of events are of native animals to your biome. The mod doesn't affect what animals wander onto your map, it just allows them to have babies without you taming them first, and frankly it seems silly that they can't to begin with.
