In some cases when connecting with other road types (at 180° or other angles), the tracks are partially or completely missing on the intersection node.
Examples I've found where this occurs (apparently with all variants in this collection):
- vanilla one-way two-lane road with tram track (the 1-way tram-only track is fine, as is the 2-way road with tram tracks)

Specifically the latter example would be a real good opportunity to get a visually nice connection.

I'm normally playing with the TM:PE hide unconnected tracks mod. Disabling it does not alter the outcome for affected connections. However enabling it allows to render an intersection as desired, when using the 2-way+tram road (i.e. the intersection then looks as it is supposed to for the 1-way road+tram, but then the "wrong" road with 2 tracks is connected).
