First of all, thanks for a great mod!

Some of original quotes which were removed aren't that bad, IMO; like, original quotes on husbandry and Clarke's quote on astrology. Is there a limit on the amount of quotes that can be used? Is it ok just to add a quote as a new entry in SC Quote Text?

There is no limit to the number of quotes you can have per tech/civic - if you wanted to re-add those quotes, all you'd have to do is add an entry in the 'SC Tech and Civic Quotes.sql' file, copying over the information from the base file (Assets\Gameplay\Data\Technologies.xml). For example to add back one of the Animal husbandry Ones, you'd just add: ('TECH_ANIMAL_HUSBANDRY', 'LOC_TECH_ANIMAL_HUSBANDRY_QUOTE_1', 'Play_Animal_Husbandry_Quote_1'),

Do I need to unsubscribe from your mod and make a copy in order to maintain any changes I made? Or can I just make all files read-only after I've changed them?

Your changes should (I believe) stay until I publish another version of the mod (which probably won't be until after the next DLC). Unsubscribing I think removes the files from your mod folder. If you wanted to be sure your edits wouldn't get overwritten, you could copy the entire mod into My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Mods and make your changes there and I think then it would be separate.

Yes, thanks, I tried different variants yesterday and you are right. Even if I copy the mod back to steam folder after having unsubscribed, it still isn't visible in additional content - so I just made a copy in the game folder for mods. Again, thanks for an awesome mod!

Looking through the new GS additions, there seem to be several natural wonder quotes ending with "NAME" instead of actual quote author. I assume that's not intentional, so I would like to point that out. There are 4 instances of upper case "NAME" in 'SC Tech and Civic Quotes.sql':

First off, thanks for the great work you've put into this mod! I think you do an excellent job capturing the right "sound" of Civ with your chosen quotes. Two questions:
1, after reading through the different quotes you've added into the mod, I've put together a document with some typos and suggestions. What would be the best way to get that to you?
2, are you still interested in having the quotes voiced? I may be able to provide some assistance with that, if you're interested.

Getting audio is on the to-do list but it's very much on the backburner due to the amount of work it'll require

As for the audio, sounds good. I just didn't want to step on any toes if you already had plans or work behind the scenes. I think I'll put something together and send it your way, to see if that would be something you're interested in.

@Iron Kaiser - Fixed most of the things you noted (save a couple that were just poetic language/capitalization). I'll take a look at your suggestions as well, but figured I'd get the typos fixed sooner rather than later.

Fantastic! Glad I could help. Got one more for you, that showed up in the correction. MOD_SC_CIVIC_OPERA_BALLET_QUOTE_2 has "weighlessness" instead of "weightlessness."

In the voice department, I threw together a little something. In this clip, I voice the quotes of the first "wonders" section. Check it out, and see if perhaps I can be of some use to the mod. https://instaud.io/3plj

@SeelingCat - I have a suggestion for when you get around to plotting out the voicework for the mod. If you have the people for it, I think it might be a neat idea to have two narrators instead of one - one for the science tree, and one for the culture tree (and of course, split the wonders between them). I think that extra touch of variance would be quite nice.

The Flight quote, "My soul is in the sky." - William Shakespeare, is about dying, not flying. I mean, Firaxis's quotes had a relevancy problem, right? This is worse than any of them IMO.

I just changed the xml file to replace it with the Leonardo da Vinci one from Firaxis, which never should have been removed.
