me and faultz were discussing a possibility of various changes to recipes of the turf, to make it less `grindy` but still not easy to obtain:
- consideration to use marble and/or gears as crafting recipe to substitute for scales.
additional options:
- add rare drop chance of your choice to FW, Toadstool, shadow chess, etc.

faultz stance on this is "i dont want it too easy to make then it be everywhere cuz it is coool flooring", which i agree on

also we had a good laugh about making recipe cost a krampus sack :D

Yeah, sure thing. Sounds like a good idea. I am down for any changes to recipe.

Thought so, as mass producing them would require players to get lots of bones from either other players or set pieces, but it's also easier to produce than scraping Dragonfly often.

Like other crafting mods, you could make the crafting materials configurable in the mod settings so people can have a sliding bar for how challenging they want it to be to obtain on their server. I also think the idea that got floated in the comments for there to be a colloseum set piece is really good.

What do you recommend for the other variations of crafting recipes? A setpiece option maybe, I will take it into consideration.

hey great mod!
iam not sure how modding in dst works but is it possible to add a feature to choose what weapons can be allowed or not? so it can be a fair fight in some situations.
setting a player on fire and then going for him with a N. sword is just not fair.

Thanks for the feedback! So you would want configurable options that can enable/disable weapons that can be used on the PvP turf?

yea like that - allow ranged / allow melee / allow all weapons

Ranged only
Melee only

I am not sure what magic weapons are (is dark sword melee and magic, is fire staff ranged and magic)? What about the sleeping mechanic (sleepy time stories, panflute, mandrake, napsack)?

Magic is Fire Staff, Ice Staff, Wanderer (teleport), Weather Pain.
Removing sleeping would be great against cheap wins.
