Admin Menu 2.0
Save all changes made with the Admin Menu 2.0?
I dont really know how to explain it properly but heres my question: Is there a way to save all the changes you made with the menu so you can load them in another map, like a save file? Its kinda boring that you need to enable all options you want again when switching maps.:boomer::health:

Since the update of The Last Stand, Valve enforced that the cvars commands will reset when switching to a new map. This hurts when you change the values of the commands in the current map where you are and when loading the next one they are automatically restarted.

For this, you will need a cvars file to be able to save all the commands you want to modify. Here is an example:

● Using a cvars.txt File
You can create a file called "cvars.txt" and place it in the following directory:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\ems\admin system

This file will automatically execute all Cvars upon loading each map. Keep in mind each Cvar will need to be on its own line within the file.

Here's an example of how you can enter the Cvars:
god "1"
"sv_infinite_ammo" "1"
sv_gravity 200
scripted_user_func give,all,rifle_m60
scripted_user_func max_health,all,300

Note: The "scripted_user_func" command will not be activated when the map is loaded the first time. When it restarts with a Game Over it will work again.

Make sure to save the file as for "all files". So it can be executed better.

You can open the vpk file from the admin menu to see the commands I have added. Using the search engine to find the command you want to see (easier to find with the text).

You will need this program in order to view the VPK files ---> GCFScape[download.cnet.com]
