Frequently asked questions answered quickly
Since these questions have been asked more and more lately, I will answer them here so that I don't have to write them again and again.
1. Can you make a weapon mod for me/us?
Yes, I can if a completely finished animated 3D model is available if you don't have one, a normal 3D model will do. But then I charge extra for animate. For modding myself I charge 10€ per hour for animating 3D models 40€ per hour. I accept all 3D models where you can show me permission to use them. I don't use game rips because there is no license for them. Because they are illegally stolen models. If animated 3D models are faulty that are passed on to me to create a mod, I also install the faulty 3D model, I do not make any improvements to 3D models that are already animated. Updates for the mod cost extra and the upload is done by the client himself. Projects that are not mine are not backed up by me, and the storage of the mod files is then your task.
2. Can you solo the weapon or item XY from your mod for me?
No, everything that is in the mod stays in the mod if you like something from the mod you can use the mod Items that are too strong for you or don't fit on your server can simply be deactivated via the engrams. The multi ax was the only exception as it's nice for PVE too but PVE doesn't need or make sense for a weapon arsenal of that size.
3. Can you bring my desired weapon into the mod?
No, the mod is finished and will not receive any further content. But if you value your dream weapon or favorite weapon in ARK, you can claim 1.
4. Do you also build other mods on commission?
In general, yes, against payment, cluster operators or other server operators can approach me. But I can't do everything because the Unreal Engine 4 offers a lot and I don't know the complete UE4.
I can mod this:
- Cards
- Map additions
- items
- workbenches
- Creatures
Everything that is required for 3D models must then be provided by the customer with a valid license. You can take prices from 1. to be able to roughly calculate the costs of your order.
5. Do you also build mods without paying money?
Yes, if I can be offered something else in return where I can then get my profit for my work. Offers like you can play on our server or we mention you on our website and I don't accept the same. Portions of donations can be accepted by me if you can provide proof of your average donations per month. The percentage is then a matter of negotiation.
6. Will you teach me modding?
No, but there are enough YouTube videos where you can learn this if you invest the appropriate time. It took me more than 2 years to acquire what I can mod today. For help with modding, check out Ark's official Mod Support Discord. They can help you with questions and problems, of course, knowledge of English is very helpful here. But I'm not your support point for your own projects.
7. Why can't I get an answer to my question?
Because I've answered it before and if you dig through the comments you'll find your answer to the question.
8.Can you give me the 3D Model XY or sell it?
I do not pass on any 3D models from my mods. Models that I have created myself can be bought. I bought some models myself, but I can't sell them to you. With 3D models that you bought from me, you also have a license to use them. The most important contents of the license are as follows:
- Mention of the 3D model creator in your projects on the start page
- No transfer of the models
- No resale of the models
- No changes to the models (new textures etc. are permitted as long as they do not contain any advertising for you or anything similar.)
