Today I have released my first new mod in a while, the 6th Armoured Division from South Africa. I wanted to be incorporating more Commonwealth units and because I am limited to the British Battledress style, I need to keep my focus on the Italian Campaign and North-West Europe. I chose this division not only because of that but because if their interesting history during the Italian Campaign in World War Two as well as the pressure placed on them because of the surrender of the 2nd Division in Africa earlier in the war.

Attached in an infantry role to this division were three famous British regiments who are also included in my Guards Armoured Division mod. The Grenadier, Coldstream and Scots Guards made up an entire brigade within the division and fought alongside them for much of their deployment in Italy. I ran into some issues with finding patches and insignia for some of the South African support elements but was fortunate enough to find that the British Engineers and Signals were also attached to the division as to fill the support quota for my mods.

Every unit has the ranks of Private to Sergeant and 2nd Lieutenant, Lieutenant and Captain. Each unit also has berets in their respective colour. I'm still working on groups so for now they are just individual empty units.
