Enigma Guess
Nidus appears particularly tree or plantlike in this skin. Not sure if that is important or not, since I can't discern any other details right now. My current guesses are "Yggdrasil" "Treekin" and "Mandrake".

Wait a minute. His legs. They resemble mushroom chitin.

Glowing mushroom, tree like, nidus resembles decaying tree, mushroom chitin...

LIGHTBULB.

My new guesses are "Foxfire" "Luciferin" and "Luciferase".
