this look like a Anime Sword
okay.. let's be real everyone, this just looks like a gigant Anime sword, in my opinion this would fit better as a AW-Melee skin because this also looks heavy as hell and since we don't get a view of the thickness in my head this is just a club

tell that to the dynasty skin zenistar, which is larger than chroma is tall, and fully supported by DE as an intended thing.

I mean, Warframe is kinda anime itself, Tenno architecture is based on feudal Japanese styles, and Warframes are cyborg ninjas with insane powers that can slaughter millions

Just because it's big and blocky doesn't really make it an 'anime' sword. I don't see it. Looks pretty Corpus to me, I wanna use this with the excalibur Corpra skin. That would be sick af.

It as a 3D render in the slide show, yeah it doesnt look like its terribly sharp, but it would be capable of slicing things in half simply because it was so heavy. There is an anime called berserk where the protagonist uses an enormous great sword that isnt even that sharp, but its capable of slashing through heavy armor like a knife through butter, as well as deflecting giant 2-ton flails.

Besides, it has lasers on the side. We've seen how War works and that's pretty much Impact, so why not have this?

War was the first blade that came to mind when seeing this Corpus heavy blade; it's like a Corpus recreation of it.

THAT ♥♥♥♥ is anime as ♥♥♥♥. this is pretty tame and actually pretty cool corpus technology!

Except DE explicitely stated it was an unintended bug but decided to leave it.
OT: practicality aside, it's just kinda ugly and poorly proportioned.
People wanted them to leave it.
