Pale orc
Pale Orc wasn't playable (by comparison to other units) before the swap of Physical protection for frost, now it's just utter garbage. Give me a tier 3 warbreed over the Pale Orc any day. Also, I LOVE the Yaka, but holy jesus it's just leaps and bounds better than anything else in the game. Reduce it's melee damage by HALF and it's still better than just about every other tier 4 in the game

Yeah orc warbreed can be very good, especially when ghouled. As for the pale orc and yaka avatar, its not so simple to get the balance just right. Both can be very strong in some matchups. Pale orcs could stack their physical protection so high, they became nearly invulnerable. That combined with high damage + tireless was a problem.

other than the 20% you could get from a warlord hero or a random single target spell, how could pale orcs stack their physical protection?

20% at start + 20% from wl hero + 20% from racial governance 5 for infantry. 60% physical protection is just too much for such unit
