Advices/feedback for on using customization Immersive taming
Hey guys, I am currently working on a customization project for my private server where I want to only allow Immersive taming and add quite a bit of modded dino (AC2 collection particularly). As using this method to tame always guaranteed full efficient taming I was planning to make a bit harder some stuff to get (dinosaur only accepting some kind of bait, more combat tame etc.).

To help me doing that what planning to use some "guidelines" and i would like advice or see what people use to do to get some ideas (and give idea to other people in same situation as me). And what people think about only using immersive taming? (still want to keep some ko taming for starting some tame in order to have a bit of variety in hunt and/or not making some tame less easy).

For bait:

- Raw meat and raw fish got the same efficiency (need to tweak value to get this result)
- Same for prime meat and prime fish and mutton: all got same efficiency (see below for the difference), mutton being the universal prime food.
- botanica: exclusif for dino usually accepting only honey, rare flower, mushroom etc... (and beer?)
- Mushroom: exclusif for dino usually accepting seed X, Y etc... or strange items.
- spoiled food: exclusif for dino eating spoiled thing like scorpion etc.
- All carnivorous (terrestrial): only take raw meat/ prime meat or mutton + kibble as bait.
- All carnivorous (aquatic): only take raw fish/prime fish or mutton + kibble as bait
- Terrestrial carnivor who live near river and use to hunt for fish (like spino): same that aquatic (or maybe both meat and fish).
- Big carnivor (or maybe related to saddle lvl) : do not take raw meat/fish (only prime/mutton or kibble).
- Snake/dino which only take eggs as taming: only take the right kibble as bait (as egg are material cost).
- Herbivore: only the smaller dino (or saddle lvl related) accept berries, all the other can take veggies

Do not really know on what to do with:

- blubber: seems like it is similar to mutton but for aquatic dinosaur (beside doing 3 tiers of quality food for Terrestrial/aquatic dinosaur, with some dino only taking a specific tiers but will take lot of effort to decide which dino take what or if people have idea on how to decide like lvl saddle?).
- Suflure: only a very few number of dino take it (Rock elemental?)

Was planning to change one of those to be the apex bait for AC2 boss (using as material a new kind of kibble specific to this mod: apex kibble).
Was thinking about using a prime vegetal bait as big herbivore can take a very long time by using as material the candy from Better Dino?

For taming process:

- all carnivorous animal must be combat tame (will probably boost their power), exception for smaller dino and/or no mount one (like compy etc.)
- all herbivore which can become aggressive when near them (like Trike) and/or attack if attacked must be KO tame (unsure about that but do not want to completely remove KO taming)
- all very particular taming may be tame vanilla or immersive taming (like hyanedon to avoid bug) [do not know what to do with troodons :s, combat tame? normal immersive taming? vanilla?]
- all baby tame (from AC2): keep vanilla taming (to avoid issue)
- all dinosaur which are tame passively will not required KO or combat tame
- all dinosaur which required to have bug repelant/ghillie to be near them for passive tame will have a smaller radius for bait, to try to compulse people to keep bug repelant/ghillie/red panda to be able to immersive tame them.

For trophy baits, I am not planning to allow wyvern taming so got 3 free baits that I am planning to change the material cost to allow an other use:

- Rex trophy : for big terrestrial carnivor
- Spino trophy: for big aquatic/river carnivor
- Yuti trophy: will use therezino item instead and use for aggressive omnivore creature (big)
- Rock Drake feature: like curently planned, and for all abberation/alien like big creature
- giga heart: same, but also used for "modded boss"
- Fire wyvern: -> become the trophy for carnivorous mammal (wolf, bear?, tiger): use thylacoleo item (unsure about this items choice)
- Poison wyvern -> become the trophy for "middle dinosaur" (dino like baryonix etc.): use Sarco item (unsure about this items choice)
- thunder wyvern -> become the trophy for "smaller carnivorous dinosaur" (like raptor etc.): use meat (or prime?) as trophy item.

Does people have other ideas or some possible improvement?

I am really not sure about the trophy modification as I am afraid that some material maybe quite rare to find (like thylacoleo) or need to kill a far stronger enemy that the dinosaur we want to tame (particularly for mammal).

I would like to avoid gating a lot of dinosaur being the "must found and kill first this rare dino before trying to tame this other dino". Was planning to add some bait as drop (for Rare Sighting dino for example).

Does some carnivorous should be KO tame too? No combat tame (like wolf as they are similar to dogs?)
