Rock Drake Glider Suggestion

I was just wondering if there was any way to make the Rock Drake Glider go into a character's shield slot instead of skinning to their chest armor, similar to the Glider Plus mod? That way players could use it and decorative skins on their armor.

Also are there any ini settings to increase the drop rate of the RDG?
