+ cant craft fish bait, it simply does not recognize the fish when i look at the engram, sparkpowder n fiber get recognized properly at same engram.

Ok, then I rewrite this here :

Not on v2.0 but on v2.1

- Either raw bait or arrow bait transform to loot bag when throwed
- When you put raw bait to your slot bar it duplicate the stack in your inventory and the new one is a fake one : not usable, not dropable (and the blueprint in the slot bar ...)

The food ingredient of each bait requires the exact class. It's to prevent being able to make Raw Meat bait with Fish Meat, as Fish Meat is a child class of Raw Meat in the Dev Kit.

I don't really use stacking mods, but I believe they actually create child classes of the main items, and it's within the child classes that they adjust the weight and stack size. Due to this, as the stacking mod Fish Meat is actually a child class of Fish Meat, it's technically not the same class, and therefore would not be considered valid for crafting.

You may want to reach out to a mod author of a stacking mod to confirm this however.

get what u mean and ill ask or better said point him to this thread, what is confusing me (not deep into coding n whatever anyway so alot confuses me..) is that meat n prime meat is still working, same for veggies.
edit: plus it worked before update with same stacking mod, def crafted fish bait already.

Just checking out the items in the Dev Kit, it seems only Fish Meat is a child of Raw Meat, and Mutton is a child of Prime. Everything else meat wise is it's own item. Both have the value "Override Exact Class Crafting Requirement" set to false. Might have something to do with it. I'll have a tinker and see if there's a workaround.

and side note to ur discovery: raw mutton seems to get pulled (by s+ pull feature) and works in the recipe for the prime meat bait, too.

That's weird. I just checked if the vanilla mutton works and it doesn't lol Stacking mods are crazeh.

in the middle of rex taming and i noticed some things that seemed odd. the red buff smoke turned green/blue after a while, but seemingly kinda randomly. not sure if that's intentional. also, it tells me to wait to feed it but i can feed it as soon as i see that text.

also, i am still having a problem taming hyenadon immersively. they seem to randomly lose the buff, no text explaining why.

For some random reason, baits placed in toolbar turn into the engram blueprints randomly. This results in pressing to throw a bait and instead crafting one. Also, when crafted, baits have to be stacked manually.

I'm having the same problem; I make a stack of 20 baits (any kind it doesn't seem to matter) in my inventory, but can only place one-at-a-time in my hotbar and when I use the one in the hotbar, it looks like a redded-out blueprint.
Also, I'm losing alot of baits (arrow and regular) through the ground. The animals notice and walk over to where the bait should be, but since it's not there they simply stand there for a while (until the bait despawns perhaps?)

2) Suggest you try taming a dod with your arrow baits. They will go on follow and not stop. And as they cannot eat bait while on FOLLOW they are untamable unless you are lucky and they dont get a FOLLOW in before completion.

Effect is 1 bag will be available for throwing in the action bar, 9 will remain in the players bags AND a phantom stack which cannot be thrown, used, or crafted into arrows is created in the players bag.

Only a log off and login will resolve this phantom stack.


2)Currently tamed a 145 turtle (48 interactions ish) - only one PET and no CARE FOR at all. Consider allow 1 CARE FOR per 20 lvls of tame? No tames made since this comment have allowed a CARE FOR.

Unable to tame Oviraptors with this it seems, I was able to feed them but when it tried to come to me, it was continuously walking towards me, not stopping even when I crouched/layed down, I got as close as I possibly could to it with no luck, it's like it's trying to get into my soul. I was able to feed it one time from hand, but now that it either wants care or is just following, it has no 'E: Care', or anything, and also when you press E nothing happens.

hmm dont wanna bug u but any news or hope for our stack-fish-craft-problem?^^
if not dont stress urself, i would simply put in and post afterwards here (maybe worth a pin at discussions as stacking mods arent rare) an alternative recipe via ini, just curious and.. lazy xD sry

Had the same problem with a dodo earlier today. They aren't close enough to you to trigger the interaction, but can't get any closer to you for some reason (hit/object box perhaps?) I used the ghost command and was able to ghost into the dodo just enough and the 'care for' command appeared for me. Hopefully a temp fix that will for you as well.
