Immersively taming a Titanosaurus advice, please

I'm looking for advice on combat taming with a Titanosaur. Currently, I have cannons and cannon balls, to attempt a normal tame. However, I think my chances would be better doing this immersively. This way, I don't have to aim for its head, but fire at the body. Advice is more than welcome.

I'm on single player.
