Loving what this mod does so far, I'm running Rim of Madness, Rimworld of the Apes, and this mod to watch Deep Ones slip on banana peels. However, the peels are a massive problem and I'm gaining them by the thousand, to the point where I stopped making meals just to avoid the trash; which is why I decided to post here. Here are some suggestions:

Banana bandages (Or banana-ges) - Medicine on par with (or maybe very slightly better than) herbal medicine with its main advantage being that they could be crafted on-demand without any skills and could be produced faster than growing herbal medicine (And not needing the minimum grow skill), which needing to dedicate manpower to craft would also be a downside along with very low value. Maybe even make banana-themed normal medicine that requires these instead of healroot and make players able to completely take it out of the equation.

Bananaphone (Yes, this old meme) - Functionally similar to the comms console, maybe more space efficient and less (or no) steel consumption in exchange for more components. Not sure how hard this would be to code, but I think it would be interesting to make it unable to contact trade ships/use trading beacons while not needing research to essentially make it an early-game way to call for help or request caravans.

Bananarangs - Cheap, early joke throwing weapon. It returns to you, or maybe not.

Compressed Bananas - Stone or even metal made from bananas, though this is starting to sound similar to the Smokeleaf Industry mod. Really, just a material to build stuff out of bananas though the bright yellow color scheme might get old after a while. Would require extensive research, maybe even make the renewable metal production (If you go with it) the "endgame" of the mod.

Banana Alcohol - Or really, any kind of consumable (Chemical) joy activity.

Thats it for now, I guess. I'll probably post again as ideas come or when my mounds of peels bother me more.

Quick edit: Would it be possible to make the banana peel traps do blunt damage? I don't know how unbalancing it would be, but the fact that I see enemies brains get stabbed by a banana peel bothers be a bit.

Yo, it surprises me and means a lot to me that people are invested enough in this mod to make suggestions as thorough as yours! Thanks!

I'm gonna get on those suggestions, and I'll add that in my folder of the Bananas! mod, banana peel traps do blunt damage, and I just didn't ship that update. Sorry about that.

as is said, i rly love the banana mod but i have some suggestions:
first i would love to change the apprearance of the bananaphone to something more likely... like this https://i2.wp.com/media.hungryforever.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/06193055/feature-image-banana-phone.jpg?w=1269&strip=all&quality=80 for exmple. a real bananaphone on a little table or so.
also i think that the nutricentvalue of the bananameal is kinda too high for the low ressources needed.
and.. what about a bananarang to throw?
