Shared Database usage on Clusters
Awesome mod and thank you for creating this. It made our lives way easier than that chubby ark shop plug-in.

Altough i have a question. I'm running this mod on a 8 map clustered dedicated server so i really wonder if it's possible to make them use a shared DB file so people don't need to carry bars around.

Thanks a lot.

Pop into discord for more information, but basically it comes down to using API.

"1.) Where do I subscribe to the new Cloud / API features of TCsAR?

You can subscribe to those features here: https://www.patreon.com/TimmyCarbine

2.) After subscribing, where can I find my API and Link Keys?

Those can be found here: https://tcs-autorewards-app.herokuapp.com/"

3.) What are the new ini settings for this update?

APIKey= [API Key from website goes here.]

PackLinkKey=[Link Key from website goes here. Each server with this key will share Pack data. This key cannot match any PlayerLinkKey.]

PlayerLinkKey= [Link Key from website goes here. Each server with this key will share Player data. This key cannot match any PackLinkKey.]

SaveFileLocation= [A folder location that you want your saved file information to go towards. Useful for using a symlink/local cluster setup.

4.) Now that I have this info, how do I go about starting the mod to sync my data?

Before you enable the API settings for your ini, start up ARK and logon to the server you want to be the source for [PACK] and [PLAYER] data.

Okay. So the process:

[1] Join server.
[2] Became Admin
[3] Pick up vault.
[4] Put back vault.
[5a] Go to Data = API = Player/Pack = Upload
[5b] Wait for upload to finish. You'll get a message stating it's done.
[5c] If you do NOT get a message saying it's done and ready, re-upload.
[6] Do all of step 5 for each data type you want to use with the API.
[7] Go to Data = API = Toggle API

And then magic should happen for the first server.

[8] Join server.
[9] Became Admin
[10] Pick up vault.
[11] Put back vault.
[12a] Go to Data = API = Player/Pack = Download
[12b] Wait for upload to finish. You'll get a message stating it's done.
[12c] If you do NOT get a message saying it's done and ready, re-download.
[13] Do all of step 5 for each data type you want to use with the API.
[14] Go to Data = API = Toggle API
[15] Repeat steps 8-14 for your remaining servers.

Moving forward, after all the maps are on the API any changes on one server will propagate to the other servers.

5.) What if I just want to manually upload things to the API?

Just use the the Radial Menu for the vault while you're logged in as Admin.

-Data ->
--API ->
---Packs ->
----Upload to API

/arkserver/ShooterGame/Saved/SavedArks is the default savepath. Normally you will just remove "SaveFileLocation=" since the default is enough.
