THIS is the real spear-blade we need
Currently we have only one weapon looking like historical glaive or naginata. I'm pretty sure such sleek design will get it's way on tennogen in no time :)

I was just thinking, "Hey, that looks kind of naginata-ey! Nice." Definitely good to see some designs like that... and I'd love an even more naginata-style skin, though not sure which weapon it should be for. Closest I've been able to get myself has been a zaw with the blade curving the wrong way. :s

Guandao is basically a chinese-styled historical glaive (the polearm, not throwable fidget spinner). This could have a skin like that.

I wasn't familiar with naginatas, so I looked them up and I'm intrigued. I think it could be possible to get a very close silhouette of a naginata. It would still have two blades, of course, as to make sense with the polearm animations, but I think the second blade could be quite small and perhaps integrated into the handle. I just might have to give it a shot!
