Yuganta - Polearm Skin

Wow this looks amazing, but..
whats with the little pointy spear bit? imho it detracts from the weapon... it doesnt even go to the end of the tip of the blade, how would it be useful in a fight?

Other than that little tidbit, this is probably the best, most sleek weapon skin i've seen. Great job.

It could do plenty in a fight. You also need to remember a LOT fo weapons have deocration that is literally just decoration. Which in this case I see it doing fine. That or I if I wanted to be practical I see a long thing spike I could get inbetween bone and hit an organ or maybe put poinson on it then proceed to hit something else vital and maybe snap it it get it stuck well into flesh. Has no reason to go to the end, asymmertical is wonderful if used RIGHT. I'd for sure say it's well used here and besides it shouldn't go to the end anyways.

I wouldn't mind something like this if it were at both ends but just having it at one end is distracting ruins the skin for me.

I was also wondering what it was for. what I ended up coming up with soon after, was some sort of syringe for extracting liquids, so you can make serums out of it.

I doubt that would be the case at all though, since this weapon doesn't really scream "juice extractor" at all.

Search up Guisarme on Google. You'll find that a lot of them have that pointy bit, used for catching blades in a battle.

I was about to say the same. You know what's up =]

Have you seen the new trident polearm skin? Does that look at all practical to you?

I'm guessing this is like a primitive spear look alike, the syringe is hideous (I'm sorry) the color on the body is en eye catcher, the shape of the blade *hmm* I'll look forward for next update (if available)

does look a bit unnecessary i'll agree, detached from the spear would look nicer

Actually, the little blade is used to lock another blade to disarm the enemy.

Correct. It also looks a bit like a syringe with that canister back there.

Perhaps it's not just there to lock enemy blades but also for injecting or extracting substances?
This is the far future afterall, so enhancements like these could be interesting yet fitting the theme.

Love it ^^

Haha even I did not know the pointy bit had a practical purpose! It is there simply because Tando's concept had it and I tried to be as faithful to its original silhouette as possible.

I would like it if it where longer. weapons this is for mostly use Reach, so no harm in making it bigger :D

I'm not apposed to the second blade, but doing more with the shape could help sell it more. like if the blade shape complimented the main blade more.

either way, voted for it. good luck
