Team Fortress 2

Team Fortress 2

The Mine Layer
Lotsa stats.
Mines are outlined to you. Your team can see them, but they are not outlined for them. The mines will be slightly transparent to the enemy, and do not produce light to them (they look like they can produce light.)

If any enemy explosion damage, or damage from your own mines, touches any of your mines, it will cause other mines around it to detonate as well.

Alt-Fire (right click) while holding the weapon lets you link mines in a certain radius. This means that when one mine is detonated by an enemy or yourself, another mine slightly farther away that was linked to that mine will also detonate. Alt-Fire is toggle-able, so you don't need to hold down right-click (or whatever your secondary fire key is.)

PROS
  • +10% damage
  • +10 secondary weapon clip size (20 bombs out at a time.)
  • +60% max secondary ammo on wearer.
  • +5% faster firing speed.

CONS
  • -30% explosion radius
  • +10% self damage taken when stickyjumping (or in this case, mine-jumping)
  • -10% bullet resistance.
  • Cannot detonate mines manually.
  • Walking on mines triggers detonation. (because the mines are feminists and get triggered when walk on them, thinking that you're trampling on women's rights.)

Thinking about it now, I don't know how in the world you're supposed to "mine-jump" with this thing. I guess the self-damage just happens when you accidentally detonate a mine on yourself.
