Play issue?

I can't pick up the troops no-one there, keeps saying mission aborted i was 2 meters away at the yellow way marker on the ground never acknowledged my landings for troops to get in. Or am I missing something.

I spawn a helicopter and as the mission starts, I keep getting a message that they're dead? and it constantly flickers. Unplayable.
